Brygn Ellwanger - Assignment 6

Okay, so there's a story to this. Mmmmm, the three eternal pillars of life on the macro gospel scale but also for the micro-individual-life are the Creation, the Fall, and the Atonement. Everytime we try something new, we're creating. And when things don't work out as we planned, we fall. But because of the Atonement, one failure does not doom us to perpetual failure. So the girl has just experienced a personal "Fall" and she feels like life has just been sucked out of her. She feels like everything that makes her unique, that makes her special, is dead/broken/kaput. It's as though if she pulled out her heart at that moment it would be all shriveled and dead. So the dragon she's holding represents her heart - something that was once magical and rare but is now dead. But if the Savior could raise Lazarus from the dead, why can't he restore a dragon-heart back to life? So that's this illustration. :o) Yay.
